Du Preez Stoltz is a dedicated South African Afrikaans gospel singer, known for his resonant voice and spiritual music ministry. Born in Bloemfontein and raised in Klerksdorp, a meld of academic pursuit and a profound religious calling shaped his path. He completed his schooling at Hoërskool Welkom Gimnasium in 1996 and went on to study psychology at the University of the Free State, initially considering theology before specializing in mental health and well-being.
While attending university, Stoltz began his professional music journey by joining the established vocal group SA se Eie Drie Tenore (SA's Own Three Tenors), performing alongside other talented artists such as Phillip Kotze and Chris Coetzer. This experience honed his performance skills and solidified his commitment to Christian music.
In 2010, Stoltz launched a solo career with the release of his debut album, “Hy Leef In My,” through SELECT-musiek. The album was well-received within the Afrikaans gospel community.
He followed this with his second album, “Dans In Sy Lig.” Stoltz has dedicated his life to full-time ministry through music, touring extensively across South Africa to perform in various venues, including churches and retirement homes. His mission is to share messages of faith, hope, and an abundant life rooted in Christian principles. Stoltz is a devoted family man, whose work continues to inspire and uplift his audience through heartfelt Afrikaans gospel music.
